  • The Meridian Public School District Director of Public Relations works with the Superintendent, administrators, staff, community, and media to provide accurate, up-to-date information as well as highlight the successes of our district and schools. Media relations, crisis communications, photos, newsletters, events, communication policy, recognitions, social media management, and image management are all part of the Communication Department.

    MPSD uses a variety of methods to communicate general, day-to-day news as well as emergency alerts (such as weather-related school closures). Be sure to follow the Meridian Public School District on Facebook, Instagram (@mpsdwildcas), and Twitter (@MPSD_Wildcats).

  • Online Registration for the 2020-2021 School Year Now Open

    MPSD is implementing an online registration process for the 2020-21 school year. This process will allow us to complete and submit the required paperwork and documents through a Google form. This process will take about 30 minutes to complete.

  • MPSD Return To School Plan Announced

    Tonight the district administration team presented the MPSD Returning, Re-imagining, and Revamping plan to the MPSD School Board. When developing the plan for a safe return to school, the Meridian Public School District consulted with parents, teachers, students, health officials, and community stakeholders to better understand their concerns and seek counsel to ensure we were taking all precautions and following CDC guidelines.

    Congratulations to the 2019-2020 retirees from MPSD! Although we couldn't honor you at our annual retirement ceremony we would like to thank you for your hard work and dedication to the students of Meridian Public School District.
